Coming to the Interview
Most people have a few nerves about interviews, but don't worry; we are a friendly group of people. We do want to make sure that you are right for a Consultancy role as well letting you decide if Amadeus is right for you.
The interview is divided into the following three sessions. Remember though, we don't expect ready made Consultants to walk through our doors, but we do look for the skills you will bring to us and your enthusiasm in doing so:
- Introduction and assessment: We will give you an overview of what we do, and encourage a discussion about your career aspirations. You will be asked to study a business situation and, on paper, suggest how you would approach the problem.
- Presentation: We will ask you to give a presentation of ten minutes in length that you prepared before the interview. Although we encourage this to be about something to do with SAS, the subject and content is of your choice. You should present with Microsoft PowerPoint or other interactive media projected to a screen, and be prepared to speak to an audience of two or more people.
- Technical interview, questions and answers: We will spend a few minutes asking you questions about SAS (assuming you have previous SAS experience!), before giving you a final opportunity to ask questions of the company or role, helping you to judge if we are right for you.
In total you can expect the interview to last for between two and three hours.
