All Consultants need a core knowledge of SAS Programming and the know-how to engage customers and projects. You will also learn how to conduct training courses and deliver motivating presentations. Consultants learn the skills behind activities such as data warehousing, building dashboards, developing bespoke applications, installing and configuring world class SAS environments. Not to mention, what do we mean by Business Intelligence anyway?

You may choose to build on these skills with industry expertise, develop a fine knowledge of specific SAS products, or even move into business development or project management.

There are those who do something different again, such as strategic consultancy or application development with Microsoft .NET, Java or Objective-C languages.

One thing is certain; no two people are the same. We are committed to helping you find the path that's right for you. All Consultants have a line manager who is responsible for mentoring you and ensuring your professional development is progressing in a way that suits your ambitions and the company direction. You will be encouraged to be proactive, enthusiastic and share what you learn with the SAS community.
