Puzzles -  Ringwords

I also thought of calling these 'aroundtics'. The idea is that clues are given for a circular chain of words, the last letter of one being the first letter of the next. Starting at some point in the chain, the initial letters of successive words give the single word which is the answer to the whole puzzle. For example, clues of "hello/piano keys/sunder/fangs" lead to "HI/IvorieS/SpliT/TeetH" and the uninspiring answer THIS. Now try these:

1)
salad (7) / cheese (4) / fruit (5) / vegetable (5) / orange (5)

2)
drums (7) / adult insect (5) / view (7) / misbehaviour (11) / milk pudding (4) / gemstone (4) / carriage (6) / flabby (5)

3)
Housework club in Gateshead. (7)
Low morale among igloo makers. (5)
Mast is an unusual bit of log. (8)
Mean to say 'era'. (7)
Football team stuff the French in endless event. (6)
She was not noted for ruthlessness. (5)
