Audience
This course is designed for SAS users who wish to produce a variety of report styles such as listings and tabulations with summary statistics using the SAS system.
Prerequisites
You should be familiar with Base SAS® Software, data and procedure steps, and ideally be trained or have experience to at least the SAS Fundamentals level, as this course exclusively concentrates on the programming approach to Proc REPORT. No previous experience of Proc REPORT is required
Objectives
After this course attendees will be able to apply the Proc Report procedure to create listings and tabulations from SAS data sets, whilst taking extensive control over the layout and appearance of their reports, whether in the traditional output window, Microsoft Word document or in web pages. Attendees will also gain an understanding of the different methods of defining and ordering columns of data, adding summary statistics and adding customised information to their reports.
